Thanks for your help regarding default files.
It seems that there are two default files - one is in "defaults" - this one
changes the "new file" default.
The other is under "document styles" and this is the one I missed - it
changes the defaults when new files are created using the setup wizard.

Could someone please tell me how to change the default page layout in
Finale 25. I can't find a default file to change and the help file only
seems to refer to changes to individual document.
