Simon, thanks, I guess I read the chapter and try some more... But it would be nice just to press an x and get an x. I don't need guitar notation often, at least not complicated things, just copying from a normal staff. So I will have to look into it the next time I'll use it. Kurt At

Simon, thanks, I guess I read the chapter and try some more... But it would be nice just to press an x and get an x. The default behaviour of Finale placing the X notehead for you when you drag from staff to TAB very nearly works, but the notehead is about 3 or 4 EVPU our of alignment

Hi, everyone out there who knows a lot about guitar tab entry in Finale? Is there a tutorial available? My problems: Is there a better way to enter the music than entering it into a normal staff system and copy/pasting it into a TAB staff? I found a bend sign, how about hammer on / pull

Is there a better way to enter the music than entering it into a normal staff system and copy/pasting it into a TAB staff? Yes, but you will have to study the manual. I do it infrequently enough that I have to relearn it. Can I do a TAB including stems and dots for the rhythms? Using the
