web designer is recommendable? Would it be worth getting the Apple
software package?
I have used Adobe GoLive in an old OS 9 version, and, to be honest, it
was actually too powerful, or rather, too complicated for my
Apple's iWeb is extremely basic, but it may be enough for your needs.
I'm happy with Freeway from http://www.softpress.com : there are two
versions, Pro and Express, which you can try as free downloads
(limited to a month, I think). Even the Express version gives you
more power than iWeb.

iWeb is a little limited though very easy to use. It depends on how
fiddly and fussy you want to be.
