Well, the Mac version of BSOD is kernel panic, and I don't think you

Hmm, my home Mac, a upgraded QuickSilver 2002 with a Dual G4 in it now,
doesn't have any issues like what you describe. I don't run two versions
of Finale at the same time, but I do run Digital Performer and Finale at
the same time, and they seem to get along well.
