ok great, thanks!
you do this to control any subsequent spacing issues, i guess?
for me, i wonder about the time involved to set the grace notes
individually in the dialogue vs using the special tools, taking into
consideration the unlikelihood of me having to make any further
adjustments
wowowowow! yeah selectively marking notes/rests to not affect spacing
was of great help in this score. there seems to be no way to do this
on a region without going through the notes one at a time.
what else do you / others use the frame dialogue for? the

I haven't used it since the days of repairing corrupted files.
How do
opt click the measure, from outside the speedy frame (i.e. you are
not in the measure)

How do you get to it now? I don't see it in the Speedy menu (Finale 2007).

Got it. In Windows, with the frame off, CTL-click ON the measure.
Thanks! Now where *is* that frame documentation? I used to have something...

The documentation is at Quick Help/Dialog Boxes/Frame Dialog.
For me,
is there any way to have a clef change occur between a note and the
grace notes that precede it? F2010, no linked parts (performance
score for a trio).
contrabass pizz passage with figures up around F5 (treble clef) with
end note the open low C string (bass clef). i want to avoid using a

Insert a measure with an invisible barline. Set it to ignore measure numbers.
ah! great solution. won't work in this particular case (overlapping
grace note figures in other voices and quasi-proportional notation =
non-alignment across voices) but you got me thinking on the right
track.

my normal grace note trick (75% tuplets in another layer) isn't ideal
here, in this passage i need the grace notes to not affect spacing wthin
the beat of the real rhythm.
Mark those fake notes (through the frame dialog box in Speedy Entry) to
not be part of spacing
