I'm not sure when I learned this, but in Speedy, I place the cursor
over the rest in question and hit "H"

Yes, it's possible to move rests vertically -- click and
drag them
Speedy or Simple entry, click on the rest and type H. With the rest
selected in simple you can move it with the arrow keys.
I believe O was equated with "Obfuscate" ;-)
