So I'm a little behind, but I'm using 2006d at the moment, and I
can't make any of my files change tempo on playback. They all seem
to be stuck on q=120 no matter what I do. If I change it in the
playback window it still keeps the same tempo, and sometimes it is
grayed-out and won't even let

Actually, I had put a dynamic mark at the beginning, which had, yes,
a number for velocity, but also a tempo number. Who knew? I have
never run into this before, but thanks to you, I know what to check
