FinMac 2012
We have noticed that, since the upgrade to 2012, Finale does definitely seem to
get bogged down after several hours of use. The time it takes for a field to
become selectable - in the page format dialog window for instance - has
increased from nothing to 2-3 seconds, which is a

I keep a copy of my current prefs close and an alias of the proper folder, so I
can trash and replace with minimal fuss. I trashed prefs with AppleWorks once,
but Finale seems to need it with remarkable frequency. I seem to go in waves;
for example, it has been rare over the last few months,
It does happen from time to time with InDesign. Finale 2012 has been the
worst version as far as corruption of pref files goes. I've never seen the
corruption leading to the app becoming bogged down.
