Does anyone know of a font that has functional harmony symbols? I've been
looking around for the past two days but found nothing.

1. I can't get the G# at the top of the instrument's range to sound--i guess
this is just an error? is there a way around it?

The simple answer is that in the real (non-Finale) world the note doesn't
exist. The absolute highest note on a 46 or 47-string pedal harp is 0 octave
G.I've never seen any harp in which the pedal mechanism extends to that
string - and I've played a helluva lot of harps!
