Re: [Finale] Chords - Fretboard
Hi Darcy, It turns out that what I said in my last post is, in fact, exactly what I did: 1. show fretboards (fretboard appear for every chord - so you're right, it is global) 2. turn off fretboards you don't want one by one in the chord definitive dialogue box. There might be an easier way, but I'm not aware of it. If anyone else knows a better way, let me know. Hi Larry, Thanks. Ouch, that is a bit painstaking if you only want two fretboards at the top of the chart! But good to know it can be done. Re: [Finale] Chords - Fretboard
In the old days, I used to create custom fretboards in the shape designer, assembling them with Seville font characters. For just a couple, that might still be a viable option depending on the size of your score. JR On 3/24/09 2:15 PM, Darcy James Argue djar...@earthlink.net wrote: Hi Larry, Thanks. Thanks, to all who contacted me both on and off list. My problem has been solved and this gave me a chance to use my new Finale 2009. I never got Finale to process the MIDI files (seemed to want them to be in XML format or something), but the MUS files saved the day! This is not possible in my Finale. Or have I missed it? I had my mind on the final appearance of the text, not on the means of achieving it. So, no, you can't change justification within a single textblock. You can, however, easily produce the same effect with two.
