I thought a Piano Duet was for two pianos, no? (But a piano trio is not
normally for three pianos.)

In setting a page of a table of contents, a printer would set the

Haven't you considered converting all, your Finale and MS Word docs to
PDF and printing from there? pdf allows you to impose your document any
way you want or need, and you can choose whatever resolution you desire.

Hi Gary,
I'm using FinMac2005. I notice that the problem comes and goes, even
with the same document.
To elaborate -- sometimes, after first launching Finale, the Staff List
updates correctly. Then, after working for a while, it will stop
updating correctly. Sometimes (but not always),

Anyway. Cable is Jesus, only cooler, because he has guns. If Jesus
had had guns, Christianity would have been much better. A

There is a delightful piece from the Bach family for three players at
one keyboard. It is written for two children in the middle and an
adult whose hands are on the outside. I believe the score shows this
with nested braces. If my memory serves me, it is called Das
Dreyblatt.

On Tue,
Thanks for all of the responses. I should have noted
that I want this all in one document so I can make a
booklet on my large format printer. And I do want the
convenience of just printing one document and being

Is it worth it to make a feature request to Finale to
make text block

The ability to import text to a text block from a Word processor,

I imagine the easiest way to create this would be to print a .ps rather than
a .pdf. The .ps should import directly into finale. In your print dialog, in
the output option, select postscript, and that will save a file that finale
can import. I imagine this would be the easiest way to solve this
And, of course, there's the P.D.Q. Bach pieces that require four hands plus
that of the page-turner ... I believe the Liebeslieder Polkas make use of
that arrangement.
