[Finale] Slur Interpretation on Playback

Hi All, I'm working on a string arrangement using FinMac2004 with MIDI playback to my K2600R. Is there a way for me to get Finale to tell the K2600R to play four slurred 8th notes legato instead of articulating each note? Interpret Slurs is checked in HP. Thanks! **Leigh

If you have a software sequencer other than GB, maybe you could send the GB MIDI output to the sequencer and record it there. **Leigh On Mon, Mar 14, 2005, Lynn Gold [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I was told there was some way you could kludge a MIDI save by sending the output to MIDI. --Lynn On

Thanks for such a quick reply Dick. Everything you said was understood. I had already made a chart with regular quarter notes and am trying to change them to hash marks. Tried to select all in staff attributes as you said. The noteheads wouldn't change. Has it anything to do with layers or ?

This is a real hard way to do it. Here's an easier way. There is a staff style called Slash Notation. In the Staff tool, select the passage, hit S (for Slash). All of layer 1 is turned into slashes. If you hit R (for RHythmic) every thing turns into stemmed slashes. As you noticed, you need

Disappearing tuplet brackets has happened to me. They are in the finale score, I can still see them, but when I make an eps from that page, they are, randomly, on occasion, gone. Replacing the offenders with non-engraver tuplets has fixed it for me. It happens rarely, but it does happen. One

Chris, Great suggestion! The piece I was missing was the monophonic part. In the patch editor I discovered a Monophonic parameter which when set to On, revealed a Legato parameter. Turning Legato on did the trick. Thanks! **Leigh On Tue, Mar 15, 2005, Christopher Smith [EMAIL PROTECTED]

This is why I still use Finale 2001 for tablature, for the most part. Consider a simple 3-note G chord, G/B/G should be 3/0/0 on the first three strings. Finale wants to render it as 3/x/4/5. OK, I can edit that to 3/0/0. When I drag copy/paste the edit is untouched, but when I
