I tried using Lassus with several text editors and found out it works fine with
AppleWorks 6 and BBEdit Lite X; and the problem I described earlier occurs
with Word 2004, TextEdit and TextWrangler.
There is no update that I know of. Do you? Thanks.

No, and it is not intended to for score writing. Its purpose is to insert music

You don't have to be a trombone player - I'm a horn player and I understand

Hi all,
Working on a score where one of the percussion instruments called for is
hardenglocke. Since this word returns zero results in a Google search, I
assume the composer meant something else. Bells of some kind, presumably,
but... ?

I finally ordered my Finale upgrade. I've been using 2K4, and it has
done most of what I wanted, but my new PC has a 64-bit OS (Windows 7),
and I want to make the best of that.
What pitfalls should I be on the lookout for?

My wife and I are still using FinWin 2004. I'd love to hear whether you
think that upgrading was worth it, and what you have gained with the new
version. And also what you've lost...
