It's an OS problem. The newest Mac OS somehow re-sets permissions for Finale 2008 (something to do with the Airport card, IIRC). Call MakeMusic and they'll give you the application that re-sets the permissions. You'll have to re-start your computer though, which is a pain since it disrupts workflow
