In over 20 years with Finale, I have never had this happen before:
I selected group and brackets in staff tool, asked for barlines
through staves, and the usual bracket. I've performed this six times
now, going back and forth, starting over, and the bracket (in page
view) does not show up on any
I don't know what version you have, but try selecting ALL of each staff (click
in the left margin of the first staff, then shift click in the left margin for
the second staff) and adding the group.

Are the other systems optimized?
An optimized system won't take on bracket changes or other group changes
you make. You'll have to remove optimization for the groups to show up the
way you want.

Selection tool.
Highlight the measures you want to affect.
On Mac OS, hit Command-Shift-M. A window will pop up. Enter your desired
value.
On Windows, it's probably something similar. Hopefully someone familiar
with that system will chime in.
