[Finale] Error dialog means ?

I'm getting this error dialog, apparently a Finale error because Finale's logo is in the box: While attempting to access ~TemporarySaveFile~ the File Manager reported an error. Would someone explain that to me and if I can fix it and how? There's 2-3 files that have remained open in the

[Finale] Mac Mavericks and Secondary Maximized Windows

One of the new features of Mac OS Mavericks is menu bars on every monitor. I suppose I'll eventually get used to it and come to like it, but one of the negative side effects is that every version of Finale before 2014 has the problem that if you ever maximize a window on a secondary monitor, you

No not where the menu bar disappears. That's the whole problem. When I click the maximize button on a window on a secondary screen, pre-14 versions of Finale increase the size of the window such that the window bar is hidden by the menu bar. Command-period has no effect for me, other than to

Not sure if I understand this.  Do you mean the double arrow on the top right of the window?  That does disappear when maximized window is evoked but if you tap the top of the screen the menu bar display appears and the double arrow appears in blue on the menu bar also on top right.  That will
