is there a known way of notating when a string is plucked, left to
vibrate and subsequently only touched with the finger at a harmonic,
not plucked or picked? e.g. pluck low E, touch G# 2 octaves + M3
higher to produce the 5th harmonic?

when i set a clef to show at 100% at the start of a measure and there
is a mid-measure clef change in the same measure, there is an extra
100 EVPUs (approx.) added at the beginning of the meaure before the
music.
any way around this aside from fixing it with a negative value in
the SC and
I would tie the notes and change heads of notes when the harmonic starts,
indicating where harmonic is located and eventually how to obtain it.

It definitely seems one of these case in which the composer should attach to
pdf version a mp3 with himself whistling. :)
