It's a compatibility issue. I'm having the same problems with Finale 2012
and El Capitan. The only solution (for me at least) is to upgrade to Finale
2015. Make Music and Apple will more than likely not put out fixes for
older versions of software.

I'm having problems on my Macbook 10.10.5 Yosemite platform in conjunction with
my Finale 2010 software, which previously worked perfectly for five years. I
am able to open Finale 2010 and begin prepping the launch wizard function. I
