Friends, REcently I’ve been trying to bring some older files from the last century (1999; what version of Finale would _that_ have been?) up to date for second editions. Although FinMac 2012c has done a pretty good job, there have been several glitches. The most annoying: all the half-note

yep. the only thing i could add to what has already been said is that david's method is what i have also found very quick in predominantly scalar passages. with various styles of new music there are more and larger and varied intervallic jumps, so the computer or midi keyboard comes in
