I upgraded to Winfin 2012 and since upgrading have found the Garritan(?) sounds to be much inferior to those I had in Finale 2006, in fact, now they sound very much like a computer, though not as bad as midi.
With the 2006 sounds people often asked, "is this live or a computer". The question would not arise now. Nothing else has changed on my system. I tried using the "Garritan Ambience" effect which made little difference other than to make the sounds very unclear. Has anyone else found this, or am I making a very silly mistake somewhere along the line?
