Hello to all members I've just now read the messages about the Maestoso mailing occurred to some of the members on this list. I'm partially involved in the Maestoso project and can say that the web and email servers are controlled by an external company which manages hosting and mailing; the mailing management also includes mailing list management.
There are three ways one can subscribe to the list: 1. Online 2. By a second person (usually a friend) and answering positively to subscription confirmation 3. By a reseller or school who are authorized to communicate one's personal data I personally rejected, nine months ago, the idea of applying any kind of public announcement on this list so -and not even now- I intend to not write any link for advertisement, less of all, I never thought to scrape anyone's address. As Brad Beyenhof reported in a previous reply to this topic, I privately contacted some members of this list asking them permission to have their name appointed in a special Acknowledgement section on the MP's site. Some of them gave me their permission some preferred not to. However, I understand there still is a problem related to unsolicited messages apparently coming from Maestoso, therefore, I'll personally take action to solve in the best positive way this situation. If anyone on this list feels to have received unwanted mail from Maestoso Publications please write to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] a special email account I personally built up just after reading about this topic. Please post from the email account you received the mailing or specify, in your post, the email address where you received the mailing.
