Yes - this seems to be the only choice when using these symbols. You have to
control the positioning of each one individually. Not so painful, but unusual
in that most things like this are default positionable in Finale.

Baseline Offset (that's minus point one inch). This makes it generally lower,
but it still lifts when the notes get high (that's the Additional Entry Offset
value).

set far too high by default). The Entry Offset will take care of collisions
with high notes if it's set correctly.

You are right, if I had only thought of that BEFORE changing all my default
positions!
The Entry Offset doesn't take articulations into account, so one still has to
manually nudge the ones on notes with articulations.
