Well, there is no place in the Setup Wizard where you can set the distance between staves. There is no other place in the program either because the default distance between staves seems pretty hard coded at 320 EVPUs, and that is surely always too big a distance. So I guess it is time to add

The Set-up Wizard reads the maestro default file. I would think that if you open the default file (maestro default) that you will have the settings you want when you use the wizard. This only works if you want spacing changed for every document you create AFTER altering the current maestro
