Yes, I knew where to put it, and I removed the LE version.
Actually, what I did was download and install the old version by mistake.
I went back to the website and downloaded the correct version, installed
it, and everything works great! Thanks for the help. I can use Finale 2014
to do actual work
When I downloaded it and installed it on my system, it made a mess of the
Plug-ins menu like before. Plus, the Smart Explosion of multi-part
staves plug in doesn't work, like before. That's one of the main TGTools
plug-ins that I rely upon.

Did you put it in the MAIN library? ie: MacintoshHD/Library not the user
library?
And did you make sure the older one isn't living in perhaps the users library?
I installed it just fine and it works great. I've now moved everything to 2014
on my Macs.

Can you (Eric) or anyone confirm that this is really an update? The version
number is the same for Macs, 2.60, and the creation date still says Dec 2009.

The set that is included with Finale is the 'lite' set. The full version does
