On Windows, the shift key is what bypasses dialogs, but it isn't nearly so convenient as the cmd key on Mac. For example (as of the last time I checked, c. WinFin03), if you hit shift-enter on Win when designing/assigning a text expression, it okays all *except the last* dialog box. (On Mac, cmd-enter okays thru *all* the dialogs.)
I reported this discrepancy to WinSupport, who had the astounding temerity to tell me it was working as designed. This was the beginning of the end of me bothering to report any issues to MM. It is also one of several reasons I have gritted my teeth and stayed with the Mac platform, despite all of Steve Jobs's vigorous and persuasive attempts to convince me to abandon it. (There are some other productivity barriers in WinFin that are absent in MacFin, especially WinFin's MDI parent window that saps much of the usefulness out of multiple monitors.) > -----Original Message----- > From: A-NO-NE Music [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, February 1, 2006 04:52 PM > To: finale@shsu.edu > Subject: Re: [Finale] Mass Copy in Finale 2006 > > Fisher, Allen / 2006/02/01 / 09:17 AM wrote: > > >I always thought shift was used to bypass dialogs, at least in Finale... > > Nope. > Example.
