2014-06-20 Thread Karryn Olson-Ramanujan
Dear Friends,

Solstice happens at a time of great activity. If you have a moment, I'd
like to humbly request that you personally call one of your friends who
would be interested in this Solstice Event. We need just 2 more folks to
sign up for this fantastic experience to make it happen. But call them now,
please, because we need those 2 folks registered by noon today (Friday).
Thanks for your support!
Karryn

Experience on Saturday, June 21st, from 9am-3pm at the CRS Barn, 2622 N.
Triphammer Road, Ithaca, NY 14850 Solstice is a time to gather and
celebrate the interconnectivity of our lives with the Earth’s cycles. In
this spirit of reconnection, we invite you to join us for a day-long
experience that weaves ceremony, movement, and permaculture. Together, we
begin repair of the present-day disconnect between body, Earth and
community - a disconnect that is at the core of ecological destruction. In
this day together, we will: - Learn and apply permaculture principles to
design meaningful ceremonies that tend the inner landscape, build
community, and improve ecosystem health. - Explore movement in nature to
reduce the distance between the body and Earth. - Co-create a “Postcards to
the Earth” ceremony that will allow us to solidify our learning and take
action. The whole experience will be held in safe space, cultivating trust,
community, and sincere connection. This solstice workshop is led by: -
Permaculture Designer Educator, Karryn Olson-Ramanujan, MPA - Certified

2014-06-20 Thread Joshua Dolan
Hello Permaculture Park Project volunteers, we will be holding next week's
work session from 3:30-6:30 next Tuesday 6/24 to allow greater flexibility
for all of our participants. Please swing by when you can. We have been
making a lot of progress weeding the burm and expanding new beds. We will
also be holding our first potluck in the park on Wednesday evening, July 9
at 6:30 and hope to gather your ideas and input for the next phase of
project development. Thanks for all the work you have done to make this
project a success and we hope to see you over the coming weeks.
