FINGER LAKES PERMACULTURE NETWORK WINTER 2009 REGIONAL CONSULTA in Ithaca, NY
Want to be part of the growing permaculture network in the region? What would you like to make happen in the local permaculture movement? Come to a "Consulta" Sunday, February 8 2009, 1-5pm. We'll be at the Tompkins County Cooperative Extension (CCE-TC) at 615 Willow Ave. Directions are below. This event is completely yours, mine, ours! We'll start with a fun networking activity where you can recruit others for your permaculture endeavor, find a new permie undertaking to get involved with, share skills, match inputs with outputs, etc.. Then we'll move over to an "Open Space" on the future of the local permaculture movement. This is your chance to bring an issue you care about to the permaculture community, based on the idea: "Whoever comes is the right people, Whatever happens is the only thing that could've." We'll have some snacks to sustain your energy levels, please bring a small donation. If you need childcare, RSVP to Melissa Madden by January 26. We are currently working out this issue, so your input and help will be necessary to make childcare an option.
