My recollection was that the discussions focused on having fullscreen
XDarwin going along with Apple X11 on top of Aqua, but both on the same
monitor, and switching between them with Command-Option-A.
I don't believe that it's possible yet to run Aqua on one screen and
XDarwin on the other.

You should be able to copy /sw with no problems. You may need to
reinstall a few packages that do things outside of /sw (but if you keep
all of your deb files, this should be quick). These include:
the xfree86 packages (if you use the fink packages), since they install
outside of /sw

does anyone know if it is possible to clone the sw directory to a
present Jaguar install?
I use carbon copy cloner and like to install OSX new, but want to keep
the allready compiled (took a long time) src pkges in fink.
