[Fink-beginners] fink selfupdate failed

I m using Macintosh (PowerPC G4). I installed fink on it as part of mono installation. Then as said at mono webpage I m executing fink selfupdate command at terminal but getting following error: Unknown host fink.cvs.sourceforge.net. ### execution of /usr/bin/su failed, exit code 1 Failed:
