files by erasing the 10.2-gcc3.3 tree and doing a completely fresh
'fink selfupdate'?
sudo rm -rf /sw/fink/10.2-gcc3.3
and for good measure
sudo rm -rf /sw/fink.old

install fink and the g77 compile and compile code after installing XCode.

Having strange problmes with GTK programs, I decided to switch my X11
implementation. I was using Apple's X11; I am now using XDarwon (Xfree
4.4) as installed by fink.
The server launches fine but i can't have any applications launch into
it...

You need to link all parts of your program together when you create the

When I ran update-all I got messages that automake 1.8 was being
replaced with 1.6, and that db42 was to be replaced with db3 and other
similar messages. I thought it odd that older, archived versions were
replacing the newer but I let fink run. I ended up with this:

I believe this is due to a conflict between libgtkhtml and gtkhtml-dev.
Remove gtkhtml-dev.

i hope someone can help me with this question
after installing the fink from the source code
i tried several times to run the:
"/sw/bin/pathsetup.sh"
i get:
"your environment seems to be correctly set up for fink already"
however i can't run fink by just typing sudo dselect which gives me a:

I just thought it weird that update-all had reversed the choices that
update bundle-kde made. So should I re-run update-all after (and if)
kde updates?
