This list is as good as any. https://github.com/fink/website
<https://github.com/fink/website> is also good, though it’s a bit tricky for
community members to submit a pull request because our document sources have a
lot of idiosyncrasies.

Updated now. The server where the website lives is currently undergoing some
maintenance, but this should take effect soon.

I’m not sure why ’sudo' wasn’t there, to be honest. We sometimes leave sudo
out if the framing text mentions running as root or as an administrator, but
that’s not the case here.

Likely but not guaranteed to remain that way. Apple likes to move stuff. In
particular, Xcode on older OS X versions was installed in /Developer. Also,
users like to play around with betas or other nonstandard setups.

I’ve gone ahead and replaced /path/to with /Applications, since it is indeed
the most likely case, but left the “replace /Applications with the actual
path”, since that still covers alternative install locations.
