I have problems with the libncurses5 and ncurses-dev packages. Fink
replaces one by the other back and forth.
Here what I understand of the problem:
ncurses-dev is provided by the ncurses-shlibs (5.3-20031018) package.
It is flagged as essential, so Fink will try to keep it installed. On
