May I suggest you to try the seamonkey pkg in my exp dir.
finkinfo/seamonkey.*)
It is 'latest stable', and runs AFAIK quite reliably both on ppc and
on intel.
And for most mozilla dependent pkgs that I know, making them run with
this is a simple matter of telling them that the name of mozilla is
seamonkey
_ and if they complain about not knowing that name, force them to
shut up.

I should commit it very soon _ the only things holding me up are lack
of encouragment + extensive testing by others.., _ and there you
might help !,

and a packaging difficulty (and there any help or clarification from
others on this list is
welcome: the "shlibs policy" looks utterly impracticable to me, at
least in cases like this) :

In a pkg that has about 125 dylibs (with about 100 among them in fact
bundles),
shlibs policy would require to put in the -shlibs pkg all shared
libraries _ but also
anything on which those might depend : I don't really know how to
check for those
100 bundles which ones can be loaded from one the the 2 dozen
libraries, and
which ones get loaded only by the executables...
And even if I knew _ this pkg makes extensive use of files, and I
would have the
same problem with each of the files....

Best,

JF Mertens
