We (most likely Jean-François, from the commit logs) cleverly post-process the
malformed .info files once the have been compiled. Even more cleverly,
SnowLeopard's makeinfo apparently gzips the generated files, so there's nothing
to find and patch anymore.

Unfortunately, this didn't solve the problem.
I have deleted the source files, the deb files and rebuilt sbcl from the latest
source on the mirror. Neither fink nor apt-get allow me to install nor remove
sbcl.
