Howdy,
I'm trying to compile vis5d (http://vis5d.sourceforge.net/)
for OS X 10.2 latest. The vis5d package comes with libtool
1.4 (timestamp of "1.920 2001/04/24 23:26:18"). I found
the fink porting tips document essential, as I definitely had
the flat_namespace bug, and the edit to "configure" did the
trick for that.
One other weirdness is occuring now. There are three or four
executables which are the final result of the make process,
and for each of those, libtool is apparently called to do the
final linking. For some reason, the "-o executable_name"
argument is being supplied twice to libtool, which causes a
failed link and an error message.
I am able to edit the second "-o exec_name" out of the libtool
call, and the compilation proceeds correctly. Is this a
problem others have seen? Any way to track down why this is
happening?
Regards,
Andy
