I didn't have the same success with glib...
creating libgmodule.la
(cd .libs rm -f libgmodule.la ln -s ../libgmodule.la
libgmodule.la)
/sw/src/glib-1.2.10-7/glib-1.2.10/gmodule/.libs
/bin/sh ../libtool
--mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I..
-I../gmodule
