Dear Fink developers,
This has finally been implemented, and all -py24 and -pm586 packages
should have now been tagged to restrict their Distribution to 10.4 and
10.5.
Package maintainers should check to see if their packages were
updated, and verify the correctness of the update.

Fink has long supplied multiple versions of major languages, and even
"older than OS X supplies" ones to ease migration from older OS X
versions. However, keeping "very old" versions around forever is a
maintenance/testing pain, and newer versions of various modules for
the languages may not work a
