Having just dealt with somebody who read one of our docs that mentioned a
package that hasn't existed since 2002 (or so), I'm kind of thinking an
overhaul is in order. We've got a lot of vestigial cruft that has accrued

OK. I was expecting to find those in /sw /share, but I guess gcc4 is
installed in the /sw/lib/gcc4/ directory to avoid conflicts with
something else.
Would it be possible to have the gcc4 package install the doc along
with the compiler (both man and info pages) ?
