I started to work on wxGTK version 2.8.7 a few weeks ago. It seems to work
fine. I ran it with my beta vlc.
Anyway at the moment my build does not support cairo due to an error with
gdk_cairo_create. This should be solved as soon as we'll move to gtk+2 >=
2.8.
