I have thought about this a little more, Option 1) I will make you a 3.1.17 package. You'll have to make sure it links against libdb-3.1 not lib db3 and you'll have to add -I%p/include/db31 to your CFLAGS (the headers will be in db31/db3). The package will depend on db3, and only install the
