there was a great document that described how to disable the Apple Apache.
Does anyone know of such a beast? I can't find it on the site or in
archives. I can spend the time figuring it out and write the doc myself but

This looks like what happens when one buils older versions
xfree86-rootless with the April 2002 Development Tools (10.1). If this
is what you did, then this is a known problem.
Solutions are:
1) use the December 2001 Development Tools and rebuild xfree86-rootless
(this is a bit painful)

i have the very same problem.
since martin costabel provided me with a working .deb file, the problem seems
to arise during compile time. i compared his (working) compile.log with mine
and only found very few differences.
the difference i found very strage is that he has the line

Hello,
Is the cdrecord package available? I didn't see it on the web
site or in any package descriptions...
The code seems to be already adapted to OS X, so it should be easy
to port

Is there already a portation of OpenOffice available for MacOSX within
fink. I think to remember there has been a discussion several months ago
on the OpenOffice portation but I don't
know the fate of it. I admit not to follow the discussions on
