Upon trying to install wxgtk2.8-py25, I encounter a compilation
failure. Specifically,

While download fink for a fresh install my internet connection was
disrupted, I believe I was on the last few kb of the last tarball.
Anyway, is there a way to keep what I have downloaded so far and only
download the missing tarball/s from the mirrors? When I try to start
from ./bootstrap a

Trees: local/main stable/main stable/crypto unstable/main unstable/crypto
If not add it and update again. I did this yesterday and I can find texlive
locally.

I have a clean install of Fink that I downloaded today. I ran "fink
selfupate" and "fink updateall". I ran "fink configure" and told fink to
use the unstable branch. However, I still can't get it to see the texlive
package.
$ fink list texlive
Information about 2522 packages read in 1 seconds.
That's intense but I understand now. My Debian systems have left out the GTK
compile option for lame therefore I was unaware of it's existence. It
appears that the Fink package has it set by default. Is there a way to
remove a compile configuration without rebuilding the package? I don't need
anyth
