I have a imac with OS X version 10.5.7 intel cpu. I want to start kde4
but it alwas comes up kde3.
I have installed bundle kde4-x11 and bundle kde4-mac.
I see no startkde4 program to start kde4 only startkde which starts
kde3. So what do I need to start kde4.

How can I get gnome to only show gnome applications. That is do not
show kde applications in the menus.?
It should only show the gnome applications not he kde applications as
well.

I run the same application twice. What I mean is I changed one of the
applications by moving it to a different app name using mv. I changed
all string names in the plist to match the new name and changed the
binary name to match also. Every so often my I Imac intel running
leopard will free
I do not see any .info or .patch files in crypto. Where are these
files located?

How do you set fink.conf tree to be crypto pangocairo. I tried /local/
pangocairo/crypto first. Then I tried /local/crypto/pangocairo. In
both cases it failed update-all with the same dependency on package
"bundle-gnome-2.20-0-1" (no matching packages/versions found)

I have been trying to get bundle-kde to install for some time now but
it fails on mjpegtools compile. I have reported this earlier in the
list. I was just curious if anyone has got KDE to run.
Is startkde the proper way to start kde?
I did fink update-all but noticed that bundle-kde showed it wasn't
installed? so I did a fink install bundle-kde and the following errors

Thanks Benjamin Reed for fixing kdeedu compile problem. I did a fink
selfupdate and fink update-all and got to the point of compiling
koffice. The following app failed to compile:
22% compiling /sw/src/fink.build/koffice-1.6.3-1024/koffice-1.6.3/kexi/
kexidb/field.cpp
/bin/sh ./libtool --mode
When trying to update kde I ran into this problem with the
kdeedu3-3.5.8-1021 portion. Here is the output from the last compile:
g++ -dynamiclib -single_module -o ./libkdeedu/kdeeducore/.libs/
libkdeeducore.1.2.0.dylib ./libkdeedu/kdeeducore/.libs/keduvocdata.o

installation gets to the point where poppler1-0.54-1025 is compiled it
