A number of scientific packages are missing from the 10.3 branch
(octave, yorick, scipy...). Is there any reason for that ? When this
packages will be included in 10.3 branch ?

FWIW I was able to compile scipy on 10.3 using python2.3 after manually moving it and its dependencies. I haven't
had a chance to test for runtime problems.
