I can't get grass-5.0.0pre3-2 to install. It fails with: checking for postgres.h... yes checking for location of PostgreSQL library... /sw/lib checking for PQsetdbLogin in -lpq... no checking for PQsetdbLogin in -lpq... no configure: error: *** Unable to locate PostgreSQL library. ### failed, exit code 1 Failed: compiling grass-5.0.0pre3-2 failed
I rebuilt postgresql 7.1.3-4, but that didn't help. I don't know how to tell whether this is a problem with the grass package, or with postgresql, so I've info'd both maintainers. Does anyone have any suggestions of what to try next? I tried to install grass a few months ago, but had similar problems. I decided to try again on the off chance that something had been fixed in the interim. fink -V Package manager version: 0.9.12 Distribution version: 0.4.0.cvs using unstable packages, updated today.
