Try updating gnome-core by itself, and then do the update-all again.

I'm glad Nautilus is up. What's your dependency error look like
(starting from the first dpkg complaint, of course)?

Doesn't matter for Dave's idea which is meant for failures in the final
installation phase when the *.deb is already built but doesn't want to
install. apt-get then finds it on your

Ok. I'm slowly getting there. I tried the suggestion to remove xfree86-shlibs, but was informed that they were not installed at all. So I moved on to Alexanders next points regarding using pango-xft1 instead of pango-xft2 (I simply

2) There was a problem with xfree86-4.3.0-1 where you could install
xfree86-shlibs alongside system-xfree86, which overwrites files installed by

-xft2. These are not compatible with Apple X11, and you need to replace
them with the -xft1 version (e.g. replace pango1-xft2 with
pango1-xft1).

Title: Nautilus / libxslt Install failure
Hi,
I'm trying to install Nautilus and it's erring out. I then saw that the error was actually occurring when libxslt was being installed, so I tried installing that separately. I still get the same error though. Error output is below.
Any ideas?
For what it's worth, I just ran into problems trying to do an
update-all, with libxslt failing to compile with the exact same
errors as Ned.

When did you last selfupdate-cvs? I made a change a couple hours ago
that (I hope)
