Hi, I am trying to switch from tetex to texlive. I removed tetex, tried to install texlive and after encountering problems removed /sw/share/texmf* by hand. This might have been a mistake :-) I have reinstalled several packages, but installing texlive-base failed because of missing files

I am trying to install gildas (version gildas-200911-2) on a new mac book pro with snow leopard. I have a fink 64-bit version with Xcode. The compilation fails with the following: /sw/src/fink.build/gildas-200911-2/gildas-src-nov09b/integ/pc-darwin-gfortran-no_python/bin/hershey
