Well, I gave a try, I copied from stable to local and appended
/sw/fink/dists/local/main/finkinfo/languages/guile20.patch
with lines from https://gist.github.com/rahulg/
baa500e84136f0965e9ade2fb36b90ba
but, alas, it didn't work.

Same problem here. I know Fink has ways of patching files ... if pointed
