fink --version Package manager version: 0.27.9 Distribution

XCode 3 and Apple X11 installed.

 jpilot-0.99.9-11

Upon attempting to launch from the command line, in an XTerm or
Terminal.app, jpilot immediately crashes with the following
 message:

removing stale pidfile The program 'jpilot' received an X Window
System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The
error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details:
 serial 1129 error_code 8 request_code 70 minor_code 0)

I do see a window briefly pop up, but that's all. So, if nothing
else, it would seem that this one still qualifies as unstable.

 Thanks, Sean

Was there any more output from X? Do you always get the same error?

It worked just fine on 10.4, and was moved to stable on that system
more than a year before Leopard was released. I can't base packaging
decisions on a yet-to-be released OS.

I guess I'll flag it as Distribution: 10.4 until I get Leopard in
December or one of the other developers who has leopard has time to
help fix whatever's going on.

Sounds like the usual Leopard's-broken-X11 bug that is fixable by
installing bbyer's new one.

Ah, good. No need to tag it 10.4-only, then.
