Sounds like the usual Leopard's-broken-X11 bug that is fixable by
installing bbyer's new one.

Was there any more output from X?  Do you always get the same error?

It worked just fine on 10.4, and was moved to stable on that system
more than a year before Leopard was released.   I can't base packaging
decisions on a yet-to-be released OS.

I guess I'll flag it as Distribution: 10.4 until I get Leopard in
December or one of the other developers who has leopard has time to
help fix whatever's going on.
