if I declare EE procedure as:
recreate procedure foo_bar
returns (result timestamp)
external name 'Example!Example.Procedures.FooBar'
engine FbNetExternalEngine;
then even if the procedure returns more rows - aka the
IExternalResultSetImpl::fetch returns True (on a first pass) - the
engine
I've let it sit idle, with no connections whatsoever, for 5 minutes and
the release method of plugin was never called. I can see the DLL loaded
in list of handles kept by firebird.exe, if I'm not attaching debugger.
It's not even called when I do shutdown of server (on Windows from the
tray icon),
Backup created under FB2.5 can be restored in FB3.0.0.32419 but not under
current snapshot (FB3.0.1.32556)
